What's New in Version
6.03 (9/27/2004)
- Added support for loading BMP format
files with associated world or TAB files.
- Added View menu option to allow zooming
to a particular scale.
- Added the Gauss Krueger Germany
projection which is a version of the Gauss
Krueger projection added in the last
release which has 3-degree wide zones
rather than 6-degree wide zones. Also
added support for the Gauss Krueger
projection variation used in Slovenia.
- Added support for the Aitoff-Wagner
projection.
- Added support for loading some MSI
Planet format elevation grid files.
- Added support for exporting loaded
elevation data to the Gravsoft grid
format. (Registered Version Only)
- Fixed occasional distortion of imagery
rectified with the polynomial method if
all control points are along straight
lines.
- Added additional options when loading
Tiger/Line data to allow loading polygon
features like zip code areas, school
districts, Congressional districts, etc.
- Added a shortcut key (Ctrl+L) to copy
the current cursor position to the
clipboard.
- If during a batch convert/reproject
operation one of the conversions is
canceled, the user will now be prompted to
see if they want to cancel all remaining
conversions as well. (Registered
Version Only)
- Made the last used .prj file folder be
remembered between program runs to make it
easier to select .prj files from the same
location repeatedly.
- Made the correct options dialog be
displayed for generated contour layers
loaded from workspace files when pressing
the Options button in the Overlay Control
Center. (Registered Version Only)
- Allowed loading of truncated OziExplorer
PLT files without error.
- Fixed bug introduced in v6.02 that
prevented the font used for the labels of
most selected features from being changed
using the Digitizer Tool.
- Fixed bug introduced in v6.02 that
caused point symbols and road shield icons
to be printed upside down.
- Fixed problems in v6.02 with loading .sid
imagery on WinME and WinXP Service Pack 2
machines.
