Description: The Arc/Info ASCII Grid format, supported by our 3D GIS mapping software 
Global Mapper, is an elevation grid exchange format used by Arc/Info. 

Developed and marketed by Environmental Systems Research Institute (ESRI) as a Desktop GIS software package and later developed into ArcView.
